Fitting Your New Kitchen Handles & Knobs

Here are just a few tips on fitting your new kitchen handles and knobs from The Handle Studio,

  1. Make sure you have a small piece of timber to clamp to the back of the door when drilling through to prevent breakout.
  2. Use a drill bit that is slightly larger than the handle or knob fixing screw so that there is a little movement. For a M4 fixing screw use a 4.8mm drill bit
  3. Always measure your handle for the hole centres and check them twice before drilling.
  4. If you are unsure before drilling your door, drill and fix your new handle or knob to a scrap piece of timber.
  5. Never drill your doors before having your handles or knobs in your hand.
